Our Mission
To provide high quality documentation of existing buildings and structures utilizing state-of-the-art 3D laser scanning technology.

Services
Floor Plans
Often times buildings or structures do not have current floor plans due to renovations and additions made over time. Laser scanning allows rapid measurements of building structures at an astonishing speed, resulting in an extremely accurate set of floor plans.

Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Laser scanning is essential to providing accurate BIM data. We assign parametric data to building components in Autodesk Revit software which enables engineers and architects to work from a true representation of existing conditions.

Photo-realistic Point Clouds
Point clouds are the direct product of our state-of-the-art laser scanning equipment. All floor plans and BIM models are based on point cloud scan data. There are many situations where a project does not require highly detailed floor plans or a BIM model. In these situations, a point cloud can be refined with high resolution photographs to provide a stunning virtual experience.
Industries
While laser scanning technology can be applied to many industries,
Peregrine Scans focuses on the following sections of the scanning market:

Historical Preservation
Laser scanning is an invaluable resource when used in conjunction with the goal of preserving architectural history. At Peregrine Scans it is well understood that a building is not just a structure. Historical Societies are established around the world with the intend objective of preserving their cultural history contained within their buildings and infrastructure. It is said that a picture can speak a thousand words but laser scanning captures tens of not hundreds of years of stories and experiences contained within those structures.
When tasked with historical preservation, Peregrine Scans can accomplish the following objectives:

-
Precision Documentation: Meticulous 3D representation of intricate details of historical sites and structures.
-
Architectural Restoration Support: Direct support to architects tasked with the restoration of historical buildings.
-
Education & Accessibility: Experience historical sites and buildings through virtual reality. Our virtual reality experience is designed to be accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion ensures that our virtual experiences cater to diverse needs, providing an immersive, educational, and enjoyable experience for all users.

Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC)
Laser scanning revolutionizes coordination within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, offering unparalleled benefits. By precisely capturing as-built conditions, this advanced technology ensures accuracy in project documentation. Architects gain a comprehensive understanding of existing structures, facilitating informed design decisions. Engineers benefit from precise measurements, reducing errors in construction plans and minimizing rework. During construction, laser scanning enhances coordination by providing real-time data, enabling better project management and on-site decision-making. The result is a streamlined workflow, reduced costs, and improved collaboration across the entire AEC spectrum, ultimately leading to more efficient and successful project outcomes.
